Convert 16 bit greyscale tif to 16 bit greyscale png file

What exactly is the problem? The exception messages you received are warnings and can be safely ignored. In our tests, ImageMagick 6.4.5-0 creates a 16-bit colormapped grayscale image. Did you want something different? If so, post a URL to your image so we can recreate the problem.
